How to Prevent Acne Scars

Acne BreakoutsAcne usually “leaves” after a few years. But most of the times, it “leaves” you with reminders of its presence. Those reminders are the awful, unsightly scars. The key to prevent acne scars is to treat it as soon as it develops. Leaving the acne without treating it in the early stages, may result in a severe form of acne which will probably cause the scars later on.

Another thing you must be aware of is that inflammation of acne causes more scars. So avoid anything that increases your skin’s inflammation in order to avoid scarring. Popping or squeezing pimples is one of the main reasons for the formation of scars. When you squeeze and pop your pimples, you seriously damage the skin’s tissue thus leading to possibly permanent scars. So don’t ever touch your pimples or acne to avoid scarring.

Acne scars are something that you don’t want to have to deal with – they’re pesky little things that hang around long after you have had acne itself. If you can, then it’s important that you clear your acne as quickly as possible. This is because the longer acne is present on a part of your body, the more likely it will leave a scar. This isn’t always the case – but you will find that removing the acne as fast as possible will help to prevent those pesky scars as much as possible.

A simple way to remove the acne is with boiling water and some tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an essential oil that comes from Australia. It’s one of the very best natural antiseptics that you can use. It is best to have some in your cupboards for any cuts or injuries that require quick healing. To start with, boil up some water and soak the corner of a face cloth with the water. Dab your acne with the corner of the cloth and the pimple will heat up. Then dab a small amount of the tea tree oil onto the pimple with a finger. It will sting a little bit, but will surely heal a lot faster.

The idea of this treatment is to enlarge the acne with the hot water and bring the bacteria to the surface. The bacteria is then treated with the tea tree oil and the pimple will go away. If you have a lot of acne then you might find this can take some time to do.

The best cure to any problem is prevention. By following a good daily skin regimen of cleansing, exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing you can keep your skin healthy and avoid acne. It is very important to remember to use the right kind of skin care product for your skin. There are different skin types and products that match these skin types. If you are unsure which products would work best for you, it is better to consult a dermatologist who would be able to guide you to selecting and using the right products for your skin.
